The newest member of our family...my brother’s dog, Gracie! She turned 5 years old in June. She is a mischievous dog! You will hear lots of Gracie stories this year!

I spent a lot of my summer in the mountains this year!  We went camping, rode our 4-wheelers, stayed at the cabin, and went fishing! I went to Chicago in July to the Discovery Education Summer Institute.  It was an awesome week of learning!  We love living so close to the mountains.

This is my amazing husband, Doug!  He is a web developer and a part-time Worship Pastor at our church  He LOVES to go fly-fishing!  Our cabin is in Lowman.  We like to go up there on the weekends and ride our 4-wheelers.  My brother has a cabin right next door!

Three years ago my sweet, wonderful Grandma passed away.  She was 91 years old, and loved to hear stories and see pictures of the kids in my classroom.  She was one of the most loving influences in my life.

My mom and dad are my greatest cheerleaders and support!  We spend a lot of time with them at the cabin in Lowman.   My mom is a retired Title 1 teacher.  She will be helping out in our class a lot this year, she loves 2nd graders!  My dad loves to thrift store shop for bargains for our classroom, and help build awesome things like our classroom tree!

This is our dog, Abby.  She loves to play in the mountains and dig up rocks.  She LOVES rocks!  She is 15 years old and spends most of her days sleeping now.  :)
