Meet Your Teacher...

This is Jessie, my daughter-in-law. She teaches 5th grade in Tennessee. She is a lot of fun!

This is Julie! She is starting her 3rd year as a teacher at Meridian Academy. She is teaching Reading Intervention, Speech, and College & Career Readiness.

This is Taylor! He is a Senior at Boise State University taking classes in Business Marketing and Advertising.

This is our awesome grandson Ande! He turned 8 in April. He lives in Tennessee, and we can’t wait to see him again. He will be in 3rd Grade this year! He loves Pokemon and dinosaurs. My Mother-in-law and Father-in-law also live in Tennessee.

The craziest members of our family are Miah and Gracie! They are my brother’s dogs. We love the fun, energy, and love that they bring to our family.

I spent a lot of my summer in the mountains this year!  We picked huckleberries, rode our 4-wheelers, stayed at the cabin, and went fishing! I went to San Antonio in June to the ISTE Conference, and I presented at the P20 Conference in Twin Falls in July.  In August I attend Picademy, and learned all about ways to use a Raspberry Pi in our Coder’s Club! It was an awesome summer of learning and mountain time!

This is my amazing husband, Doug!  He is a web developer and a part-time Worship Pastor at our church  He LOVES to go fly-fishing!  We love spending our weekends at our cabin in Lowman with my brother and sister-in-law who have a cabin right next door!

Four years ago my sweet, wonderful Grandma passed away.  She was 91 years old, and loved to hear stories and see pictures of the kids in my classroom.  She was one of the most loving influences in my life.

My mom and dad are my greatest cheerleaders and support!  We spend a lot of time with them at the cabin in Lowman.   My mom is a retired Title 1 teacher.  She will be helping out in our class a lot this year, she loves 2nd graders!  My dad loves to thrift store shop for bargains for our classroom, and help build awesome things like our classroom tree!

This is my brother and sister-in-law.  We spend every weekend together in the mountains.

My Summer

I love my Grandma!

I have a very special group of women that are like sisters to me!  We are all educators, and live all over the United States and Canada.  We talk daily. These women are my strength, my rock, my prayer warriors, and my inspiration.  I am blessed to have them in my life!
