MATH

The students are doing a great job with 3-digit addition and subtraction!  They have many of their addition strategies down, and are now working on subtraction.  We are starting Module 5, where they will be working with a larger number set and more complex strategies.

SCIENCE & SOCIAL STUDIES

This week we are learning about different types of materials, and focusing a lot on types of plastic.  We will be investigating why many toys are made out of plastic, and what benefits and difficulties this may cause.

Welcome to our classroom!  2nd Grade is Awesome!

Our Flat Stanley’s were mailed on Friday!  It will take a couple of extra days to send them since they are going through the district mail.  We are excited to see the responses!
